Established in 1994, Obunsha Bluegrass Academy--part of Japan LL Education Center of Obunsha Group--focuses on cross-cultural education and business. Obunsha provides language services to American and Japanese companies and individuals in the Central Kentucky area.

Obunsha's American instructors teach English communications to Japanese students and business people and their families. Subjects taught range from general conversation to advanced TOEFL and SAT preparation. Obunsha's Japanese instructors teach the Japanese language to American business people. Obunsha's clients find that enhancement of their communication skills help their business attain greater success and further enriches their personal life.

Obunsha also provides translation, interpretation, and bilingual staffing services to American and Japanese companies. With its capable and experienced instructors, Obunsha has been playing a significant role in building a cultural bridge between the U.S. and Japan in Central Kentucky.
